Georgie

My goal for the end of the week is to be 194.0. Today I was 194.4. (Yesterday I was 195.2, so I'm happy with that number. But it always fluctuates so not too much excitement yet.)

Emma and I both have goals for her birthday on April 17th: mine is 180.0.

Yesterday Jon mentioned the idea of getting married in May instead of August. I told him he needs to propose first, ha! But if it IS in May, I need to get my booty moving! (I mean, I should always be moving it, but this is REAL MOTIVATION!)

I asked Jon to start keeping his basketball shorts and sneakers in his car so we can go for a walk after work/school. He has been studying a LOT lately and will come over for an hour then go back to school and do more work, etc. We both sit all day and need a break so it would be nice to get moving a little bit and walk along the Provo River Trail or something.

I've been eating more protein lately - I bought a George Foreman grill a few weeks ago, and so far, so good. I've been using it a few times a week probably. I now have chicken and steak/pork/hamburger stocked in my freezer. I love it so far!

My grill!

My gallbladder was killing my last Thursday night (which means my whole chest/upper stomach and back - like awful heartburn) and I only slept for a couple of hours. Usually that only happens when I eat too much junk (it was my birthday, so I did it to myself), but today it's hurting and I feel like I ate really well yesterday. It's not as bad as last week, but the dull pain is still there. I SHOULD get it removed, but I really REALLY don't want to. I don't like surgery and I don't like spending money for surgery. Can gallstones work their "way out" or disappear? Ha let's hope so.

  1. Keep moving - like you said!! Send me some good grill recipes. You're on the right track...like someone said in "Madagascar" - "I like to move it, move it....I like to move it, move it" (or something like that).
